Usually December is pretty slow for gigs, but on the other hand there is always plenty to look forward to in the early months of the new year, this time we have the Big Day Out, Laneway, Don’t Look Back, Womadelaide, Future Music which are all looking good. There still are some good things left this year though, in particular tonight – Ned Collette & his band will be at Rocket. He’s been a fairly regular visitor to Adelaide, both solo and with band, and anyone who has seen him will no doubt be keen to see him again.
Next week dubstep returns to the Rhino Room with Caspa. Only $15 or $12 if you buy in advance. If it’s anything like the Benga show earlier in the year then I’d call that a bargain.
